More Stampers!

When I ordered diapers again, I got the 2nd set of Crayola stampers. The beaver, duck and aligator have been added to the cow, bird and horse. The kids were excited to use them as soon as I pulled them out of the box. They also got a kick out of the UPS man coming up to the door and waving at them through the glass. :)

Stuck in the house while it's snowing...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas outside! So, we're having lots of fun indoors!!

Ghost Art Project

I love doing art projects with the kids. During afternoon snack, the kids ask to color and use stickers almost every day. I don't know how they aren't sick of that yet!! :) Today, we did something more fun. We made ghosts for Halloween.


I traced the kids' feet on a piece of craft foam.

As you can tell, they were pretty wiggly since the pen tickled!


I cut them out, punched a hole on the top and threaded it with orange and black ribbon.

I had a few different googly eyes for them to choose from. They all ended up choosing the same kind, just in different colors. We attached the eyes with glue dots. I gave each ghost a mouth with a Sharpie.

Didn't they turn out way to cute!??!??

Bowling Bats

I brought out the bowling set yesterday. The kids were all excited, but I don't think they quite understood how it worked. After I got it set up for each of them to give it a try, they started using the pins as baseball bats. It was a fun game!!

Good Buddies!

BOO!

Yesterday, I realized Halloween is coming up quickly! Last year, I didn't put out my Halloween decorations, because I was WAY pregnant and didn't want to have to take them down with a brand new baby at home. Well, she didn't come until 11/5, so I would have been fine! Anyway... I brought up the bins and the kids and I put the decorations out today. They had a great time digging through the bins and pulling out what they found.






However, it didn't take long and wearing the bowls on their heads was more fun than helping me. Oh, well...they still had a good time!



After we were done, it was time for lunch.

Now, we're ready for Halloween!!

Terrific Tuesday!!

One of the kids' favorite things is watching for the garbage truck. Every Tuesday and Friday, we rush to the door when we hear the truck coming down our street. The garbage men have come to expect us. They wave and the kids get a kick out of that!


Is it coming yet? I hear it!

Making Muffins!

Now that it's getting colder outside, we haven't been spending as much time outdoors. With the rainy days lately, it's felt like baking weather. I found a muffin recipe I wanted to try, so I gathered three of the sweetest baking helpers ever and made a batch!! It was fun to bake together and the muffins were really good!
