Happy Halloween!!

Oh, my! What a day! We celebrated Halloween today. We had a lot of fun!

For snack time, the kids each decorated their own pumpkin shaped cookie. It was an adventure!

Delaney didn't get to frost, but she did get to shake out some sprinkles to eat. She wasn't sure of them at first.

Grace was VERY sad when we were done with the cookies! :(

I thought it would be cute to have matching Halloween shirts for the kids. I tried to get the least Halloween-ish ones I could find so they can wear them after this weekend. Isn't this a cute bunch??!!

Then, we watched a Mickey Mouse Halloween show together.

We have a big pumpkin we haven't carved yet. I snuck it out of the kitchen and hid it for the kids to find.

It was just here...where on earth could it be??

There it is!!
Time for the dance party!!

For lunch, we ate all orange food...carrots, mandarin oranges and homemade mac-n-cheese. We did this last year, too. The kids don't really care, but I think it's fun!
Now, everyone is napping and I just finished cleaning up after all of our fun.
I'm tired!!

Sugar Cookies

The kids and I mixed up sugar cookie dough this morning. They're such good baking helpers! Tonight, I'll bake the cookies and tomorrow we will decorate them. Should be fun (and messy)!!

Grayson Parker is here!

Today at 1:09am, this little guy made me a great aunt!
Can't wait for him to come play with all of his buddies at daycare!

Why I love doing daycare...

Fun Together!

Good buddies :)

My kids had a Halloween party at their Grandpa and Grandma's over the weekend. They made a snack mix called Gorp. We added things and had to give them yucky or funny names. We put in Fritos and called them werewolf toenails and puffed corn snacks were rat brains! So, yesterday we had Gorp for our afternoon snack. They loved the witches fingers (cheetos), mouse poop (chocolate covered raisins), and vampire ears (doritos). Kind of gross, but fun for Halloween!

Mmmm, Gorp!
