Fun Days!

Gannon's mom celebrated her birthday last weekend. We made her cards on Monday afternoon. Gannon's is the purple, Grace made the orange and Hudson decorated the yellow. Hope she had a nice birthday and enjoyed our cards!

I love these little bookworms! Such cuteness!!

We had spaghetti again on Tuesday. I cannot resist taking pictures of these messy smiles!

November 17th and no snow...EXCELLENT!! It was a little windy, but about 50 degrees. We took advantage of the nice afternoon and spent about an hour and a half outside. The kids ran and ran! What a fun outdoor adventure! Moms, sorry for the grass stains, but I think it's great that the kids are getting grass stains in mid-November!!! :)

Crayola Color Wonder Markers
Thank goodness for whoever invented these markers! They are one of the best things ever!!
Notice Gannon and Hudson are both in their Adrian Peterson jerseys today. Love little Viking fans!!

Happy Veteran's Day!

I had intended to plan something yesterday for the kids for a Veteran's Day project. However, with them being 1 and 2, it's hard to find something age appropriate. So, we just had a fun day!

I haven't gotten rid of the balloons from Delaney's birthday party yet. So, I cut them off the weights and let the kids play with them. Those balloons were the entertainment of the day! They played with them ALL DAY LONG! Gannon and Grace even took balloons home with them.

Delaney took advantage of Gannon playing with the balloons and swiped a couple of the cars he brought. She had a good time playing with them.
Later, we colored pictures and folded them into hats. The hats were a bit small. When I was little, we made them out of newspaper. Maybe we'll try that next time.

Delaney is One!!

Delaney turned one on November 5th! We ate some of her favorite things that day and had a special snack in the afternoon.

Pizza for lunch...

milk and warm chocolate chip cookies...

We sang "Happy Birthday" many times (by Hudson's request) throughout the day. Delaney smiled and clapped every time!

Gannon is turning 2 next week!! Looking forward to another party day!

Too stinkin' cute!!

Fall Fun!!

Yesterday, we went out to play in the leaves. It was 50-ish, but the wind was a little chilly. Everyone had a coat and a hat, so we bundled up and headed outside.

Hudson and Grace dove into the leaves head first. Gannon liked kicking the leaves, but didn't like how they felt when they crunched on his hands. Delaney screamed the minute I set her in the leaf pile. If I had to vote, I'd say Grace had the best time! She couldn't stop laughing!! I really should have video taped her giggling!

We need to take advantage of these nicer days since the ground could be covered in snow at any time! Look at all the fun we had yesterday after nap!!

National Sandwich Day

I came across a website that lists bizarre national holidays. Did you know November 3rd is National Sandwich Day? In honor of this holiday, we ate turkey and cheese sandwiches for lunch. We also had grapes and apples. I'll have to try celebrate more of these fun days with the kids!

Decorating for Thanksgiving

I took the Halloween decorations down during nap time yesterday. The kids were quite concerned that the pumpkin lights were gone! Today, we put out the Thanksgiving decorations. They're such good helpers!
